Music Festival Winners!
Central Massachusetts Senior Festival Winners
The Worcester Public Schools is pleased to announce the winning participants in the Central District of the Massachusetts Music Educators Association's Senior Music Festival. These students competed against nearly 1000 students from public, private and parochial schools throughout Central Massachusetts to win one of 392 seats in the Senior Festival Concert at Mechanics Hall on January 14, 2012. Students pass a rigorous audition, participate in rehearsals with some of the area’s best conductors and directors and perform in world-renowned Mechanics Hall. Top scoring students are recommended to the All-State Music Festival Auditions in January. Our congratulations are extended to these students, their teachers and families for a job well done.
